Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced - Workday Functional Consultant- to support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of Workday solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Workday HCM and the ability to work closely with HR, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective Workday solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work closely with HR and business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.

- Configure and maintain Workday modules based on business requirements.

- Participate in Workday implementation, enhancement, testing, and support activities.

- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements using Workday capabilities.

- Configure business processes, workflows, security roles, reports, and calculated fields.

- Support integrations and coordinate with technical teams for integration-related requirements.

- Perform requirement gathering, impact analysis, functional design, testing, and deployment.

- Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide timely resolution.

- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and user guides.

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of Workday projects.

- Stay updated with Workday releases and assess their impact on existing configurations and processes.

Required Skills :

- 5-8 years of relevant experience in - Workday Functional Consulting- .

- Strong hands-on experience with - Workday HCM- .

- Experience in one or more Workday modules as :

a. Core HCM

b. Compensation

c. Absence & Time Tracking

d. Recruiting

e. Talent Management

- Strong understanding of HR processes and Workday business processes.

- Experience with Workday configuration and business process management.

- Good understanding of Workday reporting, calculated fields, and security.

- Experience in requirement gathering, functional analysis, testing, and UAT.

- Good understanding of Workday integrations and ability to work with technical integration teams.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Workday certification in relevant functional modules.

- Experience in Workday implementation or transformation projects.

- Exposure to Workday releases and release management.

- Experience working in Agile project environments.

- Experience working with global HR teams and geographically distributed stakeholders.
