Role : Pigment Architect / Senior Developer
Exp : 3+ Years
Location : Noida & Bangalore
Working hours : Working hours will require availability until approximately 9 PM IST to support US stakeholder overlap.
Required Experience :
- 3+ years of hands-on Pigment implementation experience.
- Strong experience in Pigment modeling, configuration and solution development.
- Good understanding of FP&A concepts, including revenue, cost, margin, budget vs. actual vs. forecast and rolling forecasts.
- Experience designing planning-platform dimensions, hierarchies, calculations and workflows.
- Practical understanding of API-based integrations and data flows across planning, CRM and ERP systems.
- Exposure to systems such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Pulse or enterprise Data Lake/Fabric environments is preferred.
- Experience supporting UAT, production readiness and go-live for planning implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate requirements into workable solutions.
- Good communication skills and comfort working with client/business stakeholders and distributed delivery teams.
Preferred Experience :
- Pigment implementation experience in forecasting, FP&A or revenue planning.
- Experience with multi-currency / FX requirements.
- Experience with headcount forecasting or planning linkages.
- Experience with Anaplan or another enterprise planning / connected-planning platform.
- Prior consulting or system-integration experience.
Education & Certification :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- Pigment certification is preferred; relevant FP&A, EPM or connected-planning certifications are a plus.
Key Responsibilities :
- Participate in requirements and solution-design sessions and translate business requirements into practical Pigment designs.
- Build and configure Pigment dimensions, hierarchies, data models, calculations, workflows, security and user experiences.
- Implement the six-month rolling forecast process and the three-bucket forecast logic : Existing Business, New Business and Adjustments.
- Configure Existing Business forecasting using Pulse allocation data and applicable bill/cost rates.
- Implement CRM opportunity-level revenue allocation logic in Pigment, including monthly allocation based on start/end dates and network days, while preserving agreed manual override flexibility.
- Configure the Adjustments process, including revenue/cost adjustments and net-new headcount entered during forecasting.
- Reuse the existing budget hierarchy and planning foundation and support architecture decisions identified during requirements/design.
- Support multi-currency and FX configuration in alignment with the agreed Orion planning approach.
- Support inbound and outbound integrations across Pulse, CRM, NetSuite and the Orion Data Lake, including API-based data flows.
- Support API requirements for forecast-status flow-back, net-new headcount flow-back and forecast-data exposure to Orion's Data Lake/Fabric environment.
- Work with UX/design teams to deliver a simple data-entry-first forecasting experience.
- Configure role-based access and support regional requirements, including Europe-specific employee-level and regional/profit-center visibility where required.
- Support SIT/UAT, controlled pilot, production readiness, go-live and hypercare.
- Prepare technical documentation covering solution design, hierarchy, data flows and integration/API specifications.
- Provide knowledge transfer and support troubleshooting during implementation and post-go-live.
