About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in QRM (Balance Sheet Management / Asset Liability Management) and advanced SQL/data engineering skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting complex technology solutions while collaborating closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-quality applications. This role requires a strong understanding of banking risk management, data engineering, and Agile software development practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions for QRM-based applications.

- Work closely with business stakeholders and product owners to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Develop customized applications, perform software integration, configuration, and data analysis.

- Build and maintain complex SQL queries, data pipelines, and data engineering solutions.

- Lead the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and production support of enterprise applications.

- Develop robust unit tests and support integration, system, and release testing.

- Build automated monitoring capabilities and provide production support for critical applications.

- Implement and maintain security controls and monitoring in accordance with organizational standards.

- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide timely resolution.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to project teams.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Develop code aligned with acceptance criteria and ensure high-quality software delivery through continuous engineering practices.

- Automate repetitive processes and improve overall system efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8-13 years of experience in Software Development.

- Strong expertise in QRM (Balance Sheet Management / Asset Liability Management - ALM).

- Advanced SQL programming and data engineering skills.

- Experience in system integration and enterprise application development.

- Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodology.

- Hands-on experience in application development, deployment, and production support.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices is preferred.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Risk Management domains.

- Exposure to enterprise data platforms and large-scale financial systems.

- Knowledge of software security best practices and monitoring frameworks.

- Experience working with cross-functional global teams.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any related discipline.

- Relevant certifications in Banking, QRM, Data Engineering, or Cloud technologies are an added advantage.
