Responsibilities :

1. Cloud Architecture & Operations (AWS/Azure) :

- Design, deploy, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms.

- Serve as a subject matter expert for core cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Networking).

- Conduct capacity planning, cost optimization, and performance tuning of cloud resources.

2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :

- Develop, maintain, and version control infrastructure using Terraform to ensure repeatable and consistent deployments.

3. DevOps/SRE & Automation :

- Implement and enforce DevOps methodologies and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, focusing on reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.

- Design and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

- Automate operational tasks, configuration management, and system health checks using scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

4. Version Control & Collaboration :

- Utilize GitHub for source code management, branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows.

5. Observability & Monitoring :

- Implement and manage cloud observability solutions to monitor system performance, application health, and key metrics.

- Experience with leading tools like DataDog, New Relic, and/or Dynatrace is essential for defining alerts, dashboards, and reporting on Service Level Objectives (SLOs).

6. Security & Compliance :

- Implement security best practices, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), network security, and compliance monitoring across cloud environments.

Basic Qualifications :

- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

- Expert-level hands-on experience with core services and architectures in AWS and Azur.

- In-depth knowledge and proven experience with DevOps principles and practices, or strong practical experience in an SRE role.

- Mandatory proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Required expertise in managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

- Demonstrable experience with GitHub for version control and collaborative development workflows.

- Solid experience implementing and utilizing cloud observability tools such as DataDog, New Relic, or Dynatrace.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC/VNet, subnets, firewalls, load balancing, DNS).

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers and work with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Desirable Skills & Experience :

- Experience with Zscaler security technologies (e.g., Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access) for securing cloud environments and user access.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).

- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, Microsoft Certified : Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
