Role Overview :

As a Performance Testing Engineer at Megan Soft Inc., you will be instrumental in ensuring the performance, scalability, and stability of our critical applications and systems. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to design, develop, and execute performance test strategies, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for performance tuning. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of our products, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and end-users.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive performance test plans and test cases based on system requirements and architecture to validate application performance under various load conditions.

- Utilize JMeter to create, maintain, and execute performance test scripts, analyze test results, and identify performance bottlenecks.

- Collaborate with development teams to analyze performance test results, identify root causes of performance issues, and recommend performance tuning strategies.

- Monitor application performance in production environments using tools like NewRelic, DynaTrace, and AppDynamics to proactively identify and address potential performance issues.

- Integrate performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline using DevOps practices to ensure continuous performance monitoring and improvement.

- Develop and maintain performance test automation frameworks using Python to improve test efficiency and coverage.

- Generate detailed performance test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and execute performance test plans and test cases for complex applications.

- Proficient in using JMeter for performance testing, load testing, and stress testing.

- Expertise in performance monitoring and analysis using tools like NewRelic, DynaTrace, and AppDynamics.

- Strong scripting skills in Python for test automation and data analysis.

- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with development, QA, and DevOps teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
