Performance Test Engineer - JMeter

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in performance and load testing. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on expertise in JMeter and be a strong individual contributor with solid scripting capabilities.

This role involves designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure application scalability, reliability, and optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests using JMeter

- Create and maintain performance test scripts for web, API, and database layers

- Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks

- Work closely with development and DevOps teams to recommend performance improvements

- Monitor system performance metrics (CPU, memory, network, DB, etc.)

- Prepare detailed performance test reports with findings and recommendations

- Support performance testing in CI/CD pipelines

- Perform root cause analysis for performance-related issues

Mandatory Requirements :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Performance Testing

- Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter

- Strong scripting skills (Java, Groovy, Python, or similar)

- Experience in API performance testing (REST/SOAP)

- Good understanding of performance monitoring tools

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently as a strong individual contributor

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)

- Experience with APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.)

- Understanding of microservices architecture
