Work Educational Qualification : Graduate with a technical education background (B.E./B.Tech/MCA/BCA or equivalent) and relevant experience in Java-based application development.

Synopsis :

Covoro has established a strong presence across the UAE, India, and Malaysia, and we are now seeking a driven, hands-on Java Developer to support and accelerate the development of our product platforms across these markets. In this role, you will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, work on scalable, production-grade applications, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and help deliver high-quality solutions that drive business growth.

A strong foundation in Core Java, Spring-based frameworks, REST APIs, and database-driven applications is essential, along with a mindset focused on product development, continuous learning, and adopting new technologies.

Who you are :

- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Java application development, preferably on product-based or mid-to-large scale projects.

- Strong experience with Core Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred), Hibernate/JPA, and Microservices architecture

- Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using RESTful APIs

- Solid understanding of service-to-service communication, API versioning, and basic distributed system concepts

- Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL / PostgreSQL; exposure to MongoDB is a plus

- Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as React / JSP / jQuery for backend integration

- Experience contributing to projects from scratch, with clear individual ownership and impact

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and understand requirements quickly

- Highly self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-growing, product-focused environment

- Enthusiastic about continuous learning and quick adoption of new tools, frameworks, and tech stacks

- Exposure to AWS cloud services, containerization, and production system handling is a strong advantage

What will you do :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices across the full software development lifecycle

- Build and optimize RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA following microservices best practices

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define service boundaries, data ownership, and integration patterns

- Develop and manage efficient database schemas and queries for MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB

- Participate in code reviews, ensuring clean, maintainable, and high-performance code

- Contribute to architecture and performance optimization for distributed systems

- Handle production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure system reliability

- Work with DevOps and cloud teams on deployment, monitoring, and scaling of microservices (AWS exposure preferred)

- Continuously improve application quality by learning and adopting new technologies and best practices

- Provide technical inputs to enhance product scalability, resilience, and maintainability
