Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Pega Architecture & Solution Design :

- Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, development, and implementation of complex Pega applications.

- Define scalable, secure, and maintainable Pega architecture aligned with enterprise standards.

- Provide architectural guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Design solutions leveraging Pega Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) capabilities and low-code approaches while minimizing customization.

- Ensure implementation follows Pega guardrails, best practices, and architecture principles.

- Define reusable component strategies to enable efficient enterprise-wide solutions.

- Design service-oriented architectures and integration frameworks for Pega applications.

Technical Leadership & Governance :

- Act as the principal Pega technical authority and provide thought leadership to development teams.

- Drive architecture governance, design reviews, and technical decision-making.

- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Engineering teams, and Pega Centers of Excellence (CoE) teams to establish and improve development standards.

- Review solution designs, application frameworks, and technical implementations to ensure quality and scalability.

- Identify technical risks, recommend solutions, and drive resolution of complex technical challenges.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization guidelines, and Pega best practices.

Team Mentoring & Capability Building :

- Mentor Pega Senior System Architects, developers, and support teams on architecture practices.

- Provide technical coaching and guidance on latest Pega studios, tools, and development methodologies.

- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and enable continuous learning within the Pega team.

- Support capability building and growth of Pega Citizen Development initiatives.

- Provide constructive feedback to improve team performance and delivery quality.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Project Managers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Pega solutions.

- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams and multiple business units.

- Partner with Customer Support Operations, Product teams, and technology stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of Pega solutions.

- Engage with internal architecture and engineering teams to understand infrastructure, server topology, network landscape, and integration requirements.

- Provide recommendations on when to use Pega capabilities versus integrating with external platforms.

Platform Expertise & Continuous Improvement :

- Maintain advanced knowledge of Pega platform capabilities, architecture patterns, and latest product features.

- Stay updated with emerging Pega technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

- Evaluate and recommend new Pega features, tools, and approaches to improve business outcomes.

- Work with Pega Product teams to provide feedback and improvement suggestions.

- Promote innovation and continuous improvement across Pega implementations.

- Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) Certification Mandatory.

- Strong hands-on experience in Pega architecture, design, and implementation.

- Advanced knowledge of Pega Platform latest versions.

- Expertise in Pega application architecture and enterprise solution design.

- Strong experience with Pega Customer Service Framework.

- Experience with Pega Constellation architecture.

- Experience with Pega DX API and integrations.

- Strong understanding of Pega development lifecycle and implementation methodologies.

Education Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- Advanced technical certifications in Pega architecture will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements :

- Overall experience : 8 to 16 Years.

- Minimum 8+ years of relevant Pega experience.

- Proven experience as Pega Lead System Architect / Enterprise Pega Architect.

- Experience leading large-scale Pega implementations and architecture initiatives.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams and enterprise stakeholders.

Good to Have Skills :

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Pega Certified Lead System Architect (LSA) with current certification.

- Strong experience designing enterprise-grade Pega applications.

- Experience in Pega Customer Service implementations.

- Experience with modern Pega capabilities including Constellation and DX API.

- Ability to drive architecture governance and mentor technical teams.

- Pega LSA Certification (Latest Version)

- 8 to 16 Years of Experience

- Strong Pega Architecture & Design Experience

- Bangalore Location Candidates Preferred / Ready to Work from Bangalore

- Experience with Pega Customer Service, Constellation & DX API is preferred
