Job Summary :


We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) / Pega Developer to join our Pega Delivery Team.


The ideal candidate will play a key hands-on role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable Pega solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.


The candidate will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into efficient, maintainable, and high-performing Pega applications while following Pega best practices and development standards.


This role requires strong expertise in Pega architecture, application design, integration patterns, and implementation methodologies.


The Pega SSA will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, engineering teams, and delivery teams throughout the complete software development lifecycle from requirement analysis and solution design to development, deployment, and production support.


The successful candidate will act as a technical leader, mentor junior team members, promote reusable component development, drive Pega best practices, and contribute towards continuous improvement and innovation within the Pega ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities :


- Pega Solution Design & Development


- Design, develop, and implement robust Pega applications using Pega best practices and industry standards.


- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable Pega technical solutions.


- Develop enterprise-grade applications using Pega platform capabilities, including case management, workflows, UI components, integrations, and automation.


- Lead solution design discussions and provide technical recommendations to meet business objectives.


- Ensure optimal usage of Pega Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) features and low-code capabilities to deliver simplified solutions.


- Design reusable components and frameworks to improve development efficiency and maintainability.


Architecture & Technical Leadership :


- Maintain advanced knowledge of Pega architecture, design principles, and implementation methodologies.


- Define and enforce Pega application architecture standards and development best practices.


- Create service-oriented architecture solutions with focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.


- Evaluate integration requirements and recommend appropriate architectural approaches.


- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and engineering teams to understand system landscape, integrations, server topology, and technical dependencies.


- Provide technical leadership and guidance for complex Pega implementations.


- Development Lifecycle Management


- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design,

development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.


- Perform hands-on development, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.


- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues and production incidents.


- Ensure quality deliverables through code reviews, design reviews, and adherence to development standards.


- Support Agile delivery practices and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies.


Mentoring & Team Enablement :


- Mentor and guide junior Pega developers and system architects.


- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and provide technical coaching on Pega best practices.


- Review team deliverables and ensure adherence to coding, architecture, and design standards.


- Encourage adoption of reusable components and enterprise-level solutions.


- Support internal Pega capability development and citizen development initiatives.


Continuous Improvement & Innovation :


- Stay updated with the latest Pega platform features, tools, frameworks, and industry trends.


- Identify opportunities for process improvements and platform optimization.


- Collaborate with Pega COE teams to define and improve development practices.


- Provide recommendations for product enhancements and platform improvements.


- Promote innovation by leveraging emerging Pega capabilities and automation approaches.


Required Technical Skills :


Mandatory Skills :


- Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA) Certification Mandatory


- Strong hands-on experience with Pega Platform


- Expertise in Pega architecture, design, development, and implementation practices.


- Strong understanding of Pega application lifecycle management.


- Experience in designing enterprise-level Pega solutions.


- Experience with Pega Customer Service Framework will be an added advantage.


- Strong knowledge of Pega workflows, case management, rules, integrations, and UI development.


- Experience in Pega integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration technologies.


- Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.


Additional Technical Skills Strong understanding of :

Required Experience & Qualifications :


- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.


- 8 to 12 years of overall IT experience with significant hands-on Pega development experience.


- Proven experience working as Pega SSA / Senior Pega Developer.


- Strong experience in designing and delivering complex Pega applications.


- Experience mentoring and guiding technical teams.


- Experience working with senior stakeholders and business teams.


Preferred Skills :


- Experience with latest Pega versions and modern Pega architecture patterns.


- Experience with Pega Customer Service applications.


- Experience in large-scale enterprise Pega implementations.
