Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) :

Must-Have :

- Cutover Strategy & Orchestration Expertise : Proven ability to design and execute end-to-end IT cutover strategies for large ERP/SAP migrations

- Strong SAP Technical Acumen : Working knowledge of SAP landscapes, Basis, transports, interfaces, data migration, and sequencing dependencies

- Cross-Tower Coordination & Leadership : Ability to orchestrate multiple teams (SAP, Infra, Data, Testing, Integrations, Vendors) under a single cutover plan

- Risk, Dependency & Issue Management : Sharp focus on identifying, managing, and mitigating cutover risks, critical paths, and inter-system dependencies

- High-Pressure Decision Making : Capability to lead during go-live windows, war rooms, and command center situations with calm and control

- Stakeholder & Executive Communication : Clear, concise communication with senior leadership for readiness, Go/No-Go, and escalation management

- Execution Discipline & Attention to Detail : Strong rigor in runbooks, checklists, mock cutovers, and minute-by-minute execution tracking

Good-to-Have :

- End to End Experience in at least 2 implementation projects.

- Should have knowledge and have performed Cutover Activities.

Responsibility of/Expectations from the Role :

- Own and drive end-to-end IT cutover strategy, planning, and execution for SAP ERP migration programs

- Develop and manage the integrated cutover plan and detailed runbook across all in-scope applications and interfaces

- Act as the single point of coordination for cutover activities across SAP, SI teams, customer IT, and third parties

- Orchestrate mock cutovers, rehearsals, and readiness checkpoints to ensure go-live confidence

- Coordinate technical, functional, data migration, integration, and security activities during cutover windows

- Ensure system, landscape, transport, and environment readiness prior to cutover commencement

- Manage cutover risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations, enabling timely decision-making

- Drive Go / No-Go readiness assessments and meetings with senior stakeholders

- Oversee cutover execution war-room / command-center operations during go-live

- Lead post go-live stabilization and handover to operations / hypercare teams
