Role Overview :

As an APIGEE Architect at Pauls Techno Crafts, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable API solutions using the Apigee platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define API strategies, ensure API security, and optimize API performance. Your expertise will be crucial in enabling seamless integration between various systems and applications, driving innovation, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement API architectures using Apigee to meet business requirements and ensure scalability, security, and performance.

- Develop and maintain API proxies, policies, and custom extensions within the Apigee platform to enforce security, traffic management, and data transformation rules.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs into applications and systems, providing guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.

- Define and enforce API governance standards and best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and maintainability across all APIs.

- Monitor API performance and identify areas for optimization, implementing solutions to improve response times, reduce latency, and enhance overall system efficiency.

- Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, working with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in API management and cloud computing, providing recommendations for improvements and innovations.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement API solutions using the Apigee platform, including API proxies, policies, and custom extensions.

- Proven expertise in API security principles and practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Adaptability to work in Bangalore/Hyderabad location.
