Role Overview :

As a Scrum Master Japanese Bilingual, you will be instrumental in guiding and facilitating Agile Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

You will work closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices.

Your fluency in Japanese will be crucial for effective communication and collaboration with our Japanese clients and partners, bridging cultural and linguistic gaps to ensure project success.

This role directly impacts the efficiency and effectiveness of our development teams, leading to enhanced client satisfaction and improved business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for Scrum teams to ensure smooth and efficient execution of sprints.

- Coach and mentor Scrum teams on Agile principles and practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

- Remove impediments and resolve conflicts that hinder the progress of the Scrum teams, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

- Collaborate with product owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client requirements.

- Communicate effectively with Japanese clients and stakeholders, translating technical concepts and requirements to ensure mutual understanding and alignment.

- Track and report on team performance metrics, such as velocity and burndown, to identify areas for improvement and optimize team efficiency.

- Promote self-organization and cross-functionality within the Scrum teams, empowering team members to take ownership and accountability for their work.

- Ensure adherence to company standards and best practices for software development, contributing to the overall quality and consistency of our deliverables.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and guide Agile Scrum teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Proven expertise in Agile methodologies, Scrum principles, and related frameworks.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Fluency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or equivalent) with strong written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.

- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle and related technologies.

- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to identify and remove impediments.

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience with various communication protocols and tools used in Agile development environments.
