Role Overview :

As a VBCS Developer at Apex IT, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing custom applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS). You will collaborate closely with business analysts, UI/UX designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into functional and visually appealing applications. Your work will directly impact our clients by providing them with efficient and user-friendly solutions that streamline their business processes and enhance their overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain web applications using Oracle VBCS, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.

- Design and implement user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing, enhancing the user experience.

- Integrate VBCS applications with other systems and data sources using RESTful web services and APIs, ensuring seamless data flow.

- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and stability of the applications.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing within the team.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to VBCS applications, providing timely and

effective solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest VBCS features and functionalities, recommending and implementing improvements to existing applications.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and deployment guides.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy web applications using Oracle VBCS, leveraging its low-code development capabilities.

- Proven expertise in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON, enabling the creation of dynamic and interactive user interfaces.

- Strong understanding of Oracle JET framework, facilitating the development of responsive and accessible web applications.

- Experience in designing and consuming RESTful web services, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.

- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases, enabling efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
