Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Utilities Application Developer with strong expertise in Java/J2EE and Oracle Utilities technologies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing, customizing, and supporting Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) or Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) solutions while working closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java/J2EE within the Oracle Utilities framework.

- Develop technical solutions for Oracle Utilities applications, including Oracle CC&B and Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB).

- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Develop and customize solutions using 4GL scripting, Groovy, and Oracle JET.

- Build and integrate REST/SOAP-based web services with enterprise applications.

- Develop technical designs, perform unit testing, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with onsite teams, business users, and cross-functional IT teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and provide timely resolution for production incidents.

- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5 to 9 years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java/J2EE.

- Hands-on experience with Core Java, JDBC, Hibernate, Servlets, SOAP/REST Web Services, JUnit, and Multithreading.

- Strong proficiency in SQL/RDBMS and JavaScript.

- Experience working with Oracle Utilities CC&B or ORMB is preferred.

- Knowledge of 4GL scripting, Groovy, and Oracle JET is an added advantage.

- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), coding standards, and debugging techniques.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong learning aptitude with the ability to quickly adopt new technologies and Oracle Utilities frameworks.
