Role : Oracle RMCS Implementation & Configuration

- Lead or support end-to-end Oracle RMCS implementations across multiple business units/projects.

Configure Oracle RMCS modules including :

1.Revenue Contracts

2. Performance Obligations

3. Revenue Recognition Rules

4. SSP (Standalone Selling Price)

5. Revenue Scheduling

6. Contract Modifications

7. Revenue Allocation

8. Configure event-based and rule-based revenue recognition methods.

9. Define and maintain accounting treatment in accordance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 standards.

10. Setup revenue contingencies, variable consideration, and contract identification rules.

Business Requirement Analysis :

- Work closely with finance, accounting, sales, and business stakeholders to gather functional requirements.

- Analyze current revenue recognition processes and recommend Oracle Cloud best practices.

- Translate business requirements into functional design documents (FDDs).

- Conduct fit-gap analysis and provide optimized cloud solutions.

Integration & Data Management :

- Coordinate integrations between RMCS and :

1. Oracle Receivables (AR)

2. Order Management (OM)

3. Subscription Management

4. Projects Billing

5. ERP Financial Modules

6. Third-party source systems

- Validate source document ingestion and revenue contract creation.

- Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.

Testing & Deployment :

- Prepare and execute :

1. SIT (System Integration Testing)

2. UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

3. Regression Testing

- Develop test scripts and business scenarios.

- Support production deployment and cutover activities.

- Provide hypercare and post-production support.

Support & Issue Resolution :

- Troubleshoot RMCS functional issues and production defects.

- Analyze revenue accounting discrepancies and reconciliation issues.

- Work with Oracle support teams for SR management and issue resolution.

- Ensure SLA adherence and timely issue closures.

Required Technical Skills :

Must Have Skills :

- Strong experience in Oracle Cloud Financials

- Hands-on expertise in Oracle Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS)

- Experience in Oracle ERP implementations/support projects

- Strong understanding of :

1. Revenue Recognition

2. IFRS 15 / ASC 606 Compliance

3. Revenue Contracts & Performance Obligations

4. Revenue Allocation & SSP

- Experience with :

1. Oracle Receivables (AR)

2. General Ledger (GL)

3. Subledger Accounting (SLA)

- Strong functional configuration experience in RMCS

- Experience in requirement gathering and client interaction

- Understanding of integration architecture and source data processing

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with Oracle Subscription Management

- Knowledge of Oracle Order Management Cloud

- Experience with Oracle PPM/Projects Billing

- SQL knowledge for troubleshooting and validation

- BI Publisher / OTBI Reporting

- Experience in data conversion and FBDI templates

- Exposure to REST/SOAP integrations
