About the Role :
We are hiring an experienced Oracle Middleware DBA to support and lead Oracle SOA DB and WebLogic migration projects from on-premise to cloud environments. The role involves close collaboration with application teams, production support, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and successful migrations in an enterprise setup.
Key Responsibilities :
- Execute and support migration of Oracle SOA DB and WebLogic from on-premise infrastructure to cloud platforms.
- Plan and implement middleware upgrade and migration strategies based on existing architecture and business requirements.
- Work closely with client application leads for daily operational and project activities.
- Collaborate with production support teams to ensure high availability, performance, and stability of middleware systems.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and vendors (including Oracle) for issue resolution and project delivery.
- Participate in internal and client review meetings and provide timely status updates.
- Create, update, and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and KEDB (Known Error Database) documentation.
- Proactively identify, escalate, and track risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security policies, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Middleware DBA.
- Strong experience in Oracle WebLogic Server administration.
- Proven experience in Oracle SOA DB and WebLogic migration and upgrade projects.
- Hands-on experience with DBaaS (Database as a Service) environments.
- Strong understanding of current-state architecture and ability to define optimal cloud migration approaches.
- Experience working in production and enterprise-scale environments.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
