Job Title : Oracle Hyperion Essbase Administrator / Cube Specialist

Experience : 4+ Years (Min. 3+ years hands-on with Essbase & Cube management)

Education : Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Role Summary : We are seeking an experienced Oracle Hyperion Essbase Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our financial and analytical data applications. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end cube management (ASO/BSO), environment installation/configuration, MaxL scripting, calc scripts, and maintaining compliance for a critical SOX-regulated application.

Key Responsibilities :

- Cube Design & Management : Build, design, optimize, and maintain Block Storage (BSO) and Aggregate Storage (ASO) Essbase cubes.

- Environment & Installation : Hands-on experience in Essbase server installations, version upgrades, configuration, patching, and infrastructure maintenance.

- Scripting & Automation : Write, debug, and optimize MaxL scripts, Calc scripts, MDX queries, and automated batch load routines.

- Data & Metadata Loading : Manage rule files, build dimensions, perform data loads, and handle monthly/quarterly financial close refreshes.

- Compliance & Security : Enforce SOX compliance controls, user access security provisioning, audit logging, and life cycle management (LCM).

- Troubleshooting : Diagnose performance bottlenecks, optimize block structures, and handle Level 2/3 production support.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Core Skill : 3+ years of hands-on experience dedicated to Oracle Hyperion Essbase administration and cube build.

- Installation Expertise : Direct exposure to Essbase installation, migration, patches, or server-level setup.

- Technical Proficiency : Strong knowledge of MaxL, Calc Scripts, MDX, Smart View, and EAS (Essbase Administration Services).

- Databases : Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, and multidimensional data modeling (OLAP).

- Compliance : Prior experience supporting SOX-compliant financial or reporting applications.
