Oracle HCM Functional Payroll Analyst

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Functional Payroll Analyst with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll (4th Pillar Payroll - 4P) to support payroll configuration, testing, validation, and ongoing support activities. The role requires deep functional knowledge of payroll processes, integration with Core HR and Absence, and hands-on experience in payroll setup, testing, and issue resolution. This is a functional role, not a payroll operations or techno - functional position.

The core responsibilities for the job include the following :

Payroll Functional Responsibilities :

- Act as a Functional Payroll Analyst for Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll (4P).

- Configure and maintain payroll setups including Payroll Definitions, Payroll Elements and Element Classifications, Calculation Cards, Balances, Payroll Flow Patterns, Fast Formulas

- Work on the end-to-end payroll lifecycle, including pre-payroll and post-payroll validations.

- Support payroll integrations, payment methods, banks, and payroll interfaces.

- Perform payroll validations, reconciliations, and error analysis.

Implementation and Support :

- Participate in implementation, enhancement, and support projects for Fusion HCM Payroll.

- Handle change requests, impact analysis, and functional design documentation.

- Prepare and execute test cases and test scripts for SIT, UAT, and regression testing.

- Support payroll cutover activities during releases and go-live.

- Work closely with technical teams for integrations and data fixes.

Data and Reporting :

- Perform payroll-related data loads using HDL / Spreadsheet Loader.

- Validate payroll outputs and reconciliation reports.

- Work with OTBI / BI Publisher reports for payroll validation and audit requirements.

Stakeholder and Client Interaction :

- Work closely with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to understand payroll requirements.

- Support client discussions, requirement gathering, and issue troubleshooting.

- Assist in user training, KT sessions, and functional documentation.

Requirements :

- 8+ years of total experience in the HCM / Payroll domain.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll (4P).

- Strong functional knowledge of Payroll configuration, Elements, balances, calculation cards,

and fast formulas.

- Experience in payroll testing, validation, and UAT.

- Hands-on experience with HDL / Spreadsheet Loader.

- Understanding of payroll integration with Core HR and Absence.

- Strong functional documentation skills (BR. 100 BP. 080 test cases).
