Role : Oracle GoldenGate Administrator/Consultant role.
Work Location : Mumbai
Experience : 5 to 8 Years
Notice period : immediate to 15 days
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, and manage Oracle GoldenGate (Classic & Microservices)
- Configure and maintain Extract, Pump, and Replicat processes
- Design and implement real-time and bidirectional replication setups
- Perform initial data loads and ensure ongoing data synchronization
- Monitor replication lag, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
- Implement CDC strategies for reporting and analytics use cases
- Support heterogeneous replication (Oracle to non-Oracle platforms)
- Optimize performance and conduct capacity planning
- Implement DR and high-availability solutions (Active-Active / Active-Passive)
- Provide 24/7 production support, patching, and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards
- Collaborate with DBAs, ETL/ODI teams, and stakeholders
- Maintain technical documentation and mentor junior team members
Required Skills :
- Strong experience in Oracle GoldenGate administration and architecture
- Knowledge of Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL)
- Understanding of replication, CDC, and ETL concepts
- Experience with RAC, Data Guard, and ASM
- Linux/Unix and shell scripting knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
Experience & Qualification :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Oracle GoldenGate
- Experience in 24/7 production support environments
Preferred Skills :
- Oracle GoldenGate Certification
- Experience with GoldenGate for Big Data
- Exposure to cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of other replication tools (SharePlex, SQL Server Replication)
- Experience in data warehousing and real-time analytics
