Oracle EPM Cloud Freeform Techno-Functional Consultant

Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle EPM Cloud Freeform Techno Functional Consultant to design, build, and support customized enterprise planning applications.

This role is ideal for professionals who have strong expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud and deep hands-on experience with Oracle Essbase, and who enjoy solving complex business problems through flexible, high-performance planning solutions.

You will work closely with finance and business stakeholders to translate planning requirements into scalable Freeform applications that support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development & Design :

- Design and implement Freeform Planning applications tailored to business needs

- Build custom dimensions, hierarchies, metadata, and forms

- Architect scalable and optimized Essbase cube structures

Business Logic & Rules :

- Develop and maintain business rules, calc scripts, and advanced logic

- Implement planning workflows and automate calculations

- Leverage Groovy scripting for advanced use cases (if applicable)

Data Integration & Connectivity :

- Configure data integrations using EPM Integration tools, Data Exchange, and REST APIs

- Ensure smooth data flow between ERP systems and EPM applications

User Support & Reporting :

- Enable business users through Oracle Smart View for reporting and ad-hoc analysis

- Troubleshoot data, metadata, and calculation issues

Performance Optimization :

- Optimize cube performance and calculation efficiency

- Recommend best practices for scalability and maintainability

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud Freeform

- Deep expertise in Essbase cube design & multidimensional modeling

- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes

- Experience translating business requirements into technical EPM solutions

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Good to Have :

- Experience with Groovy scripting and advanced business rules

- Exposure to hybrid planning models and custom solutions

- Prior consulting or client-facing project experience

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- 8 to 10 years of experience in Oracle EPM / Hyperion ecosystem

- Strong technical + functional blend

- Hands-on builder mindset (not just support)

- Experience in end-to-end EPM implementations preferred
