Role : Oracle CPQ Consultant

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Oracle CPQ Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle CPQ Cloud configuration, pricing, quotation management, product configuration, and integrations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in configuring Oracle CPQ modules, designing business rules, and implementing technical solutions to support business requirements.

The role involves working closely with business analysts, project managers, and cross-functional teams to configure, enhance, and support Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Configure and manage Oracle CPQ Cloud modules, including :

- Pricing

- Quotation Configuration

- Product Management (Items, BOMs, System Configuration)

- Document Engine

- Develop and customize solutions using Big Machines Language (BML).

- Create and maintain Utility Libraries, Validation Rules, Hiding Rules, and Constraint Rules.

- Configure and manage Layout Editor, Commerce Layout, and Custom CSS within Oracle CPQ.

- Design and implement extensions and interfaces in Oracle CPQ Cloud.

- Work with Oracle CPQ Data Model to support configuration and business requirements.

- Develop and support integrations using web services standards and technologies, including :

1. WSDL

2. SOAP

3. REST APIs

4. XML / XML Schema

5. XSL

6. WS Standards / Security

- Work closely with business analysts and project managers to provide technical and functional support.

- Evaluate new and modified functionalities to provide technical design recommendations aligned with business and IT requirements.

- Support implementation and optimization of native integrations and accelerators within Oracle CPQ.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ Cloud.

- Expertise in Pricing, Quotation Configuration, and Product Management.

- Strong knowledge of Items, BOMs, and System Configuration.

- Experience with Document Engine and Big Machines Language (BML).

- Hands-on experience with Utility Libraries, Validation Rules, Constraint Rules, and Hiding Rules.

- Experience with Layout Editor, Commerce Layout, and Custom CSS.

- Strong understanding of the Oracle CPQ Data Model.

- Good experience with Oracle CPQ integrations and interfaces.

- Hands-on experience with WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML, XML Schema, XSL, and Web Services Security Standards.

- Knowledge of native integrations and accelerators is preferred.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Ability to work closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable CPQ solutions.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience in providing technical recommendations for new and enhanced functionalities.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in technical domain or equivalent experience preferred.
