Oracle Cloud Infrastructure/PaaS Administrator

Role :

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) / PaaS Administrator

Experience Required :

5-8 years.

Responsibilities :

- Provision, configure, and manage resources on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform, including compute instances, storage, networking, and databases.

- Implement and maintain security controls and compliance measures in accordance with OCI best practices and organizational requirements.

- Monitor OCI services and infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OCI resources, including connectivity, performance, and access controls.

- Plan and execute OCI migrations, upgrades, and expansions in coordination with stakeholders and project teams.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline OCI administration tasks and workflows.

- Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for OCI resources and data.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate OCI services with existing infrastructure, applications, and services.

- Stay up-to-date with OCI features, updates, and new releases, evaluating and recommending improvements as needed

- Support cloud budgeting, cost tracking, and optimization

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure .

- Strong expertise in OCI core services (Compute, Storage, VCN, Load Balancer, Autonomous DB).

- Proficiency in OCI CLI, Terraform (Resource Manager), and automation tools.

- Solid understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN, IPsec, Load Balancing).

- Familiar with high availability and disaster recovery principles in OCI.

- Experience with Linux/Windows OS in a cloud environment.

- OCI certifications (Foundations, Architect Associate/Professional) are a strong plus.
