Role : Oracle Cloud HCM Functional - Payroll Consultant

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Functional - Payroll Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud/Fusion Payroll, Payroll Configuration, and Oracle Cloud business processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in US Payroll, Union Payroll, and US Payroll Taxes, along with deep functional expertise in payroll configuration, payroll accounting, and payroll processing.

The role requires working closely with stakeholders to understand payroll requirements, configure Oracle Cloud Payroll solutions, and provide functional consulting to support payroll operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and solve complex payroll requirements within Oracle HCM Cloud/Fusion Payroll.

- Configure and manage Payroll Cost Allocation and Accounting Distribution in Oracle Cloud Payroll.

- Handle Payroll Tax Processing, including payroll tax configurations and compliance.

- Design and implement complex Payroll Flows in Oracle Cloud.

- Advise clients on best practices and proper usage of Oracle Cloud Payroll.

- Perform Mid-Year Balance Initialization for USA Legislation.

- Conduct Payroll Parallel Run Reconciliations to validate payroll accuracy.

- Understand business requirements and prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs) for Payroll Interfaces, Reports, and Fast Formula.

- Configure Payroll modules using FSM, HDL, and other Oracle Cloud tools.

- Work on integrations between Oracle Cloud Payroll and other HCM modules.

- Manage and support 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), and other USA Retirement Plans.

- Model, design, and test payroll business processing solutions.

- Design, create, update, and execute Payroll Flows.

- Handle Payroll Tax Processing, including Month-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End processing.

- Conduct triage sessions with customers to identify root causes, document issues, and provide solutions/workarounds related to Oracle Payroll Cloud processing.

- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on payroll best practices and application awareness.

- Create and maintain customer-facing payroll documentation.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Strong functional expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud/Fusion Payroll.

- Hands-on experience in Payroll Configuration and Payroll Accounting Configuration.

- Experience in US Payroll, Union Payroll, and US Tax Processing.

- Expertise in Payroll Cost Allocation and Accounting Distribution.

- Strong experience in designing and executing complex Payroll Flows.

- Good understanding of Payroll Interfaces, Reports, and Fast Formula.

- Hands-on experience with FSM, HDL, and Oracle Cloud tools.

- Strong knowledge of integrations between Cloud Payroll and other HCM modules.

- Experience with US Retirement Plans (401k, 403b, 457b).

- Experience in Payroll Parallel Runs, Reconciliations, and Balance Initialization.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with customer-facing consulting experience.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Candidate should currently be based in Chennai, Bangalore, or Hyderabad.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to understand business requirements and provide effective functional payroll solutions.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in technical domain or equivalent experience preferred.
