Oracle Banking Functional Support Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Banking Functional Support Consultant to provide functional support across test and production environments. The role involves incident analysis, transaction validation, issue troubleshooting, and coordination with technical and business teams to ensure smooth banking application operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide functional support for Oracle Banking applications across testing and production environments.

- Analyse incidents, identify functional issues, and support timely resolution.

- Validate banking transactions and end-to-end business processes.

- Troubleshoot and reproduce functional issues reported by users or business teams.

- Analyse transaction flows, accounting entries, and operational processes.

- Support defect/incident management and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.

- Understand and validate interfaces, workflows, and banking processes.

- Prepare and maintain functional documentation and issue-resolution details.

- Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve functional issues.

Mandatory Skills :

- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in Oracle Banking functional support.

- Hands-on experience with at least one Oracle Banking product, such as OBCL, OBPM, OBTF, FCUBS, OBELCM, or Oracle Banking Process Management.

- Strong understanding of banking domain and transaction lifecycle.

- Knowledge of accounting entries and operational banking processes.

- Experience in incident analysis, issue reproduction, and functional troubleshooting.

- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and investigation.

- Experience supporting Oracle Banking applications in production and/or implementation environments.

- Good client-facing and stakeholder communication skills.
