Section III - Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

- 6 to 12 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on Oracle APEX development experience.

- Expertise in building enterprise-grade Oracle APEX applications using Forms, Reports, Interactive Reports, Interactive Grids, Dashboards, Dynamic Actions, Validations, Processes and Shared Components.

- Hands-on experience in Oracle APEX Workflow, including workflow definitions, workflow versions, workflow designer, workflow console, workflow runtime engine, approval tasks, action tasks, participants, states and transitions.

- Experience in converting or modernizing Oracle Forms-based custom applications into Oracle APEX applications.

- Basic understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite On-Premise ERP, preferably Release 12.2.x.

- Basic understanding of Oracle Workflow business processes, approval routing, notifications, workflow attributes, item types, activities, transitions and status tracking.

- Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, collections, cursors, exception handling and performance tuning.

- Experience in developing APEX pages integrated with existing ERP custom tables, interface tables, staging tables and PL/SQL APIs.

- Experience in role-based access control, authentication, authorization schemes and page/component-level security in Oracle APEX.

- Experience with migration assessment, technical design documentation, component mapping, code review and deployment support.

- Basic understanding of ORDS, REST services, web services, JSON and integration patterns will be an added advantage.

- Experience in handling SIT, UAT, production deployment, defect resolution and post-go-live support.

- Experience in at least 1 to 2 Oracle APEX implementation or modernization projects is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and build equivalent functionality in Oracle Application Express using APEX Forms, Reports, Interactive Reports, Interactive Grids, Dashboards and reusable components.

- Migrate complex approval and routing logic from Oracle Workflow into Oracle APEX Workflow using workflow definitions, states, transitions, participants, approval tasks and action tasks.

- Develop user-friendly APEX pages with modern UI/UX standards, validations, dynamic actions, process logic and proper error handling.

- Build APEX Interactive Grids for transactional entry and update scenarios with validations, authorization rules and backend PL/SQL processing.

- Develop APEX reports and dashboards to support operational, approval, audit and exception reporting requirements.

- Create reusable PL/SQL packages, procedures and functions to support APEX page processing and workflow execution.

- Design and implement authentication and authorization in APEX based on enterprise security requirements and existing ERP role/responsibility mapping.

- Prepare technical design documents, migration mapping documents, workflow design documents, unit test cases and deployment documents.

- Support configuration migration, object deployment across development, SIT, UAT and production instances.

- Perform unit testing, defect fixing, performance tuning and technical support during SIT and UAT phases.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, architects and project stakeholders to validate functionality.

- Review code and design artifacts to ensure maintainability, performance, security and scalability of the APEX solution.

- Provide production deployment support, go-live support and hypercare support for the migrated APEX application.

- Mentor junior developers and help establish APEX development standards, naming conventions, reusable templates and best practices.
