Role : Oracle APEX Developer

We are looking for an experienced Oracle APEX Developer with around 5 years of hands-on experience in developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Oracle APEX and Oracle Database.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, SQL, REST APIs, and database development, along with a good understanding of application design and development practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle APEX.

- Develop complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and queries.

- Create and optimize SQL queries for application performance.

- Develop interactive reports, interactive grids, forms, charts, and dashboards in Oracle APEX.

- Integrate APEX applications with external systems using REST APIs / ORDS.

- Work with Oracle Database objects including tables, views, indexes, sequences, and materialized views.

- Troubleshoot application, database, and performance-related issues.

- Participate in requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other developers.

- Perform code reviews and follow development best practices.

- Support production releases and resolve post-deployment issues.

Mandatory Skills :

- Oracle APEX - 4+ years

- PL/SQL - Strong hands-on experience

- SQL - Strong hands-on experience

- Experience with Oracle Database

- Experience developing APEX forms, reports, interactive grids, and dashboards

- Knowledge of REST APIs / ORDS

- Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills

- Good understanding of database design and development

Good to Have :

- JavaScript, HTML, and CSS knowledge

- Experience with APEX security and authentication/authorization

- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud / OCI

- Experience with Git or other version-control tools

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Experience integrating APEX with third-party applications

Candidate Profile :

- Around 5 years of overall IT experience with strong Oracle APEX development experience.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Willingness to work as per project/client requirements.
