About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Oracle APEX Developer to join our team for a remote, offshore contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle APEX development, with practical experience in Oracle Fusion SaaS and PaaS cloud environments. This role requires expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and familiarity with Oracle Retail modules, particularly Retail Analytics, Planning, and Demand Analytics.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle APEX applications tailored to business requirements.

- Integrate APEX applications with Oracle Fusion SaaS and PaaS modules.

- Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, procedures, packages, and functions.

- Work on data modeling and performance tuning.

- Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to understand business logic and translate into technical design.

- Analyze and resolve application issues, ensuring smooth operation of existing APEX solutions.

- Support enhancements and upgrades in Oracle Retail modules with a focus on analytics and planning.

- Prepare technical documentation and user manuals for developed solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development.

- Proven experience with Oracle Fusion SaaS and PaaS Cloud technologies.

- Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for application development and data manipulation.

Experience working with Oracle Retail suite, particularly :

- Retail Analytics

- Planning

- Demand Analytics

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Ability to work independently in a remote setup while aligning with UAE work hours.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Knowledge of Web Services (REST/SOAP) integration in APEX.

- Exposure to Agile development practices.

- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

- Experience with performance tuning in Oracle environments.

- Compensation : Competitive, within the range of 100,000 to 110,000 INR/month (based on experience and fit)
