OptM - Embedded STB Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced STB Developer / Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in Set-Top Box platforms and broadcast technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, and optimizing embedded software for digital TV and STB systems.

This role requires hands-on experience in middleware development, broadcast standards, and embedded Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for STB platforms

- Work on middleware components and digital TV frameworks

- Implement and support DVB and ATSC standards

- Develop features for broadcast and OTT integration

- Debug and optimize system performance on embedded hardware

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, hardware, product)

- Participate in system integration and end-to-end validation

- Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability

- Support field issues and provide technical troubleshooting

- Contribute to product architecture and feature planning

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong proficiency in Embedded C / C++

- Hands-on experience in STB / Digital TV platforms

- Middleware development experience

- Solid understanding of DVB standards

- Knowledge of ATSC 3.0

- Experience with Embedded Linux

- Good debugging and problem-solving skills

- Understanding of networking protocols and media streaming

- Experience with version control systems (Git)

- Strong analytical and communication skills
