Were currently hiring for our US-based global management consulting and technology client, a market leader in healthcare and life sciences. Headquartered in Illinois (USA) and present across 30+ countries, the firm employs over 17,000 professionals worldwide across consulting, technology, and business operations. It will start off as a 9 -12 month long contract with possible conversion to a Full time role, else the contract will be extended. As an Operations Research and Computational Scientist, you will be challenged to tackle complex optimization problems and contribute to impactful projects. Key Responsibilities :

- Develop Advanced Models : Design and implement sophisticated operations research models to optimize various business processes.

- Algorithm Implementation : Create and refine algorithms for solving large-scale computational challenges efficiently.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with teams across departments to identify problem areas and provide comprehensive, data-driven solutions.

- Simulations and Testing : Develop simulation models to test, analyze, and validate proposed solutions for various scenarios.

- Documentation and Reporting : Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

- Continuous Learning and Application : Stay current with the latest developments in operations research and computational strategies to incorporate into company projects.

- Mentorship and Guidance : Mentor junior team members, fostering growth and encouraging knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Education : Ph.D. or Masters in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer

Science, or a related discipline.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C (mandatory).

- Experience with optimization tools like Gurobi, CPLEX, or similar software.

- Familiarity with machine learning and data analysis frameworks is a plus.

- Problem-Solving Ability : Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop creative solutions

for complex problems.

- Communication Skills : Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical

concepts.

- Teamwork : Strong team collaboration skills and the ability to contribute to a multi-disciplinary team environment.
