Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Open Text Engineer with at least 6 - 7 years of dedicated expertise in enterprise content management solutions. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust ECM and information management solutions using the OpenText suite.

This role involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to translate complex requirements into scalable and efficient OpenText deployments. Your contributions will directly enhance our clients' ability to manage critical data, ensure compliance, and leverage information effectively, significantly impacting their operational agility and decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement OpenText Content Suite, Extended ECM, and other OpenText products, ensuring alignment with client business processes and technical standards.

- Configure and customize OpenText modules, including workflow, records management, and archiving solutions, to meet specific project requirements.

- Develop and integrate OpenText solutions with existing enterprise applications, databases, and third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.

- Provide expert technical guidance and support for OpenText environments, troubleshooting complex issues and optimizing system performance for end-users.

- Collaborate with data archiving specialists to define and implement strategies for long-term data retention and retrieval, ensuring compliance and data integrity.

- Explore and integrate AI capabilities within OpenText solutions to enhance content classification, intelligent automation, and predictive analytics for improved information governance.

- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and operational procedures, for knowledge transfer and future maintenance.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in OpenText Content Suite, including hands-on experience with configuration, customization, and integration of core modules.

- Proficiency in designing and implementing data archiving strategies and solutions, with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and data lifecycle management.

- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in enterprise content management, particularly for intelligent document processing, classification, and automation.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of diagnosing complex technical issues and proposing effective solutions within OpenText environments.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
