Job Description:

Looking for an OpenBMC Lead to own design, development, and delivery of OpenBMC firmware for BMC-based platforms used in data center environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead OpenBMC module design, development, and implementation

- Work independently on assigned modules and deliverables

- Perform board bring-up and hardware-software integration

- Analyze system-level trade-offs and propose optimal solutions

- Develop unit tests and automation test suites

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Mandatory Skills :

- OpenBMC (hands-on, current project mandatory)

- Embedded C / C++

- Embedded Linux

- Linux Kernel & Device Driver Development

- U-Boot, IPC

- BMC Technologies: IPMI, SDR, SEL, FRU, SOL, IPMB, KCS, KVM

- Redfish and management protocols

- Board Bring-up & Debugging

- ARM Architecture, BMC SoCs (AST2500, AST2600, Pilot 4)

- Hardware Interfaces: I2C, IPMB, PMBus, SPI, LPC, UART, JTAG

- NC-SI, Side-band LAN, PHY

- Linux Application Development

Good to Have :

- RTOS (ThreadX)

- Storage & Network Protocols: SCSI, RAID, SAS, SATA, SSD, PCIe, TCP/UDP

- PSoC / MCU Firmware Development
