Ontology Solution Architect - Data Integration

Key Responsibilities :

- Ontology Design & Architecture : Design and develop enterprise ontology frameworks and models aligned with Orgs Enterprise Data Architecture (EDA) and DSaaS principles.

- Integration & Implementation : Architect and implement ontology integration pipelines using GraphDB/Neo4j and cloud data stores.

- Governance & Standards : Define ontology versioning, metadata governance, and lifecycle management practices.

- Collaboration & Delivery Enablement : Partner closely with the Enterprise Architect to align ontology designs with enterprise architecture blueprints.

Technical Qualifications :

- 12+ years of IT experience with at least 45 years in ontology or data architecture roles.

- Hands-on experience with ontology design tools and frameworks (Protégé, TopBraid, PoolParty, or similar).

- Strong understanding of RDF, OWL, SPARQL, SKOS, and SHACL standards for ontology modeling.

- Experience implementing enterprise knowledge graphs using Neo4j, GraphDB, or equivalent graph databases.

- Working knowledge of data integration and API-based ontology consumption (REST, GraphQL).

- Familiarity with metadata management and data catalog tools (Informatica, Collibra, Unity Catalog).

- Proficiency with Databricks or AWS-based data platforms (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift).

- Understanding of AI/ML and NLP-driven ontology enrichment and semantic search concepts.

- Understanding of natural language models and context-based search applications.

Minimum Eligibility :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems (Masters preferred).

- Certification in Data Architecture, Semantic Technologies, or Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.

- Minimum 10 years of total experience with strong exposure to ontology or semantic data solutions
