About the job :

We are looking for a Lead SAP Hybris Developer with strong experience in enterprise e-commerce platforms, particularly SAP Commerce (Hybris), to drive module ownership, technical delivery, and team guidance.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on senior individual contributor capable of owning end-to-end module delivery, while also guiding development standards and working with globally distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Delivery :

- Lead the development of scalable, high-performance e-commerce solutions using SAP Hybris

- Own one or more Hybris modules end-to-end, including design, development, testing, and deployment

- Define and enforce coding standards, security practices, and performance benchmarks

- Troubleshoot critical issues and ensure high system availability and performance

Development & Engineering :

- Build and enhance SAP Hybris applications using Java/J2EE and Spring

- Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise services

- Write high-performance, secure, and testable code

- Implement unit test automation and follow TDD best practices

Integration & Enterprise Systems :

- Work on integrations involving :

1. Payment gateways (Paymetrics, etc.)

2. Tax systems

3. SAP integrations (APT, ECC, S/4 HANA)

4. Web services and enterprise APIs

- Collaborate on complex B2B implementations, including enterprise workflows

DevOps & Quality Engineering :

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, etc.

- Address code quality and security issues using SonarQube, Coverity

- Monitor application performance using Dynatrace, AppDynamics

- Drive adoption of DevSecOps and Agile best practices

Collaboration & Delivery Excellence :

- Work with cross-functional global teams across products and time zones

- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams

- Resolve delivery risks, blockers, and technical challenges proactively

Requirements :

- 8+ years of experience in software development, including enterprise e-commerce

- Minimum 6+ years of strong SAP Hybris experience

- Proven experience as a Senior Developer / Lead owning module delivery

- Strong expertise in :

1. SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud

2. Java/J2EE, Spring Framework

3. JavaScript, JSP, HTML5, CSS

4. REST / SOAP APIs

5. JUnit and automation testing

- Additional requirements :

1. Strong experience building scalable and high-performance Hybris applications

2. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools

3. Experience in secure coding and vulnerability resolution

4. Strong exposure to APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics)

5. Experience working in Agile and DevSecOps environments

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience in B2B Commerce implementations

- Exposure to S/4 HANA integrations using CPI / SAP BTP

- Knowledge of SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)

- Familiarity with SAP ECC or other ERP systems

- Awareness of SAP PI / EDI integrations

- Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence

- Knowledge of Kibana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics

- Experience with SAFe Agile methodology

- SAP Hybris certification is a plus
