Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced ERP Functional Consultant with 4+ years of experience in implementing and optimizing ERP systems within the Retail industry.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience configuring Odoo ERP and a deep understanding of retail business operations including omnichannel sales, merchandising, inventory management, procurement, POS integration, customer loyalty, and supply chain - and can translate these into effective ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects tailored to retail operations - from requirement gathering and GAP analysis through to go-live and post-implementation support.

- Map and analyze retail-specific business processes including purchasing, merchandising, store operations, inventory replenishment, pricing, promotions, and customer management.

- Conduct discovery workshops with retail stakeholders (Store Ops, Buying & Merchandising,

Supply Chain, IT, and Management) to capture requirements and identify process gaps.

- Translate retail business requirements into functional specifications for configuration and development teams.

- Configure and validate Odoo ERP modules relevant to retail : POS, Inventory, Procurement,

Sales Orders, Pricing & Discounts, CRM, Loyalty Programs, and Reporting.

- Coordinate with developers for retail-specific customizations, integrations (e-commerce, POS,

payment gateways, marketplaces), and automated workflows.

- Drive UAT, staff training, and change management across store and back-office teams.

- Ensure readiness for go-live including product/SKU master data setup, opening stock migration, supplier data, and pricing configuration.

- Support demand forecasting, replenishment planning, and inventory optimization aligned with retail seasonality.

- Manage multi-location or multi-store rollout timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.

- Provide post-go-live support and recommend continuous improvements based on retail operational performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4+ years of ERP Functional Consulting experience with significant exposure to the Retail sector.

- Hands-on experience configuring Odoo ERP is mandatory - specifically modules such as POS, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, CRM, and Loyalty.

9. Demand Planning & Replenishment

- Experience in requirement gathering, retail process mapping, and GAP analysis.

- Ability to prepare BRDs, FRDs, SOPs, and retail process documentation.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across both store-level and senior management audiences.

- Experience in UAT planning, end-user training for retail staff, and go-live coordination.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to e-commerce integrations (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar) with Odoo back-end.

- Experience with multi-store or multi-branch rollouts using Odoo.

- Understanding of retail KPIs and reporting : sell-through rate, stock turnover, shrinkage, margin analysis.

- Familiarity with payment gateway integrations, barcode/RFID systems, or warehouse management tools.

- Exposure to Agile or structured Project Management methodologies.

- Certification in Odoo, Business Analysis, or Project Management is a plus.
