- We are seeking an Observability Platform Automation Engineer to run and evolve our OpenSearch, Splunk, and Grafana platforms.
- You will own ingestion pipelines, indexing strategies, dashboards, and alerting that power operational visibility and incident response.
- With strong DevOps automation skills, youll ensure observability services are scalable, secure, and cost-effective while partnering with teams to embed telemetry across the stack and achieve SLOs.
- The Observability Platform Engineer is accountable for the reliability, scalability, and security of enterprise observability platformsprimarily OpenSearch, Splunk, and Grafana.
- The role ensures comprehensive telemetry (logs, metrics, traces) is collected, normalized, indexed, visualized, and alerted upon to enable proactive incident detection and rapid root-cause analysis.
- By embedding DevOps practices and automation, this role delivers resilient observability services and supports engineering and operations teams in achieving SLOs, reducing MTTR, and enhancing overall service reliability.
- Expertise in OpenSearch, Splunk, Grafana administration and optimization.
- Knowledge of telemetry, OpenTelemetry, scripting (Python, Bash), IaC (Terraform, Ansible), cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and performance tuning.
Desirable Qualifications :
- Experience with Prometheus, Loki, Tempo or Splunk ITSI.
Certifications :
- Splunk Core Certified Admin, Grafana, OpenSearch, Kubernetes, Cloud certifications.
- Exposure to compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
