About the Role :

Nykaa is looking for a talented Product Designer to shape the next generation of creator, content, and discovery experiences across NAP (Nykaa's affiliate & influencer platform) and Nykaa Play.

This role sits at the intersection of content, creators, commerce, and customer discovery.

You will design experiences that help creators and brands create and distribute engaging content, while helping customers discover products, trends, inspiration, and stories in more intuitive and engaging ways.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Content, Marketing, Business, and Data teams to translate complex problems into simple, intuitive, and scalable experiences.

What You'll Do :

1. Design Creator & Influencer Experiences :

- Design end-to-end experiences for creator onboarding, profiles, campaign discovery, content creation, publishing, and performance tracking.

- Simplify workflows for creators to discover campaigns, select products, create content, and track their impact.

- Design experiences that enable brands and creators to collaborate effectively.

- Build intuitive dashboards for tracking content performance, engagement, attribution, and earnings.

- Identify opportunities to improve creator activation, engagement, and retention.

2. Shape Nykaa Play & Content Discovery :

- Design engaging content feeds, discovery journeys, and interactive experiences across beauty and fashion.

- Help customers discover products through videos, creators, trends, editorial content, and personalized recommendations.

- Explore new ways of connecting content - product discovery - consideration - purchase.

- Design experiences that balance inspiration with ease of shopping.

- Continuously improve content discovery through user insights and experimentation.

3. Solve Complex Consumer Problems :

- Translate ambiguous customer and business problems into clear design opportunities.

- Conduct user research, journey mapping, and competitive analysis to understand customer and creator needs.

- Simplify complex workflows and reduce friction across the customer and creator journey.

- Develop multiple concepts, prototype solutions, and validate them through user feedback and experimentation.

4. Design for Discovery & Personalization :

- Partner with Product and Data Science teams to design personalized content and product discovery experiences.

- Explore how recommendations, behavioral signals, AI, and personalization can improve content relevance.

- Design intuitive interactions for feeds, recommendations, product tagging, search, and content exploration.

- Ensure AI-enabled experiences remain transparent, intuitive, and useful.

5. Collaborate & Influence :

- Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, Content, Marketing, and Business teams.

- Translate business and technical requirements into elegant customer experiences.

- Communicate design rationale clearly and influence product decisions.

- Contribute to design systems and establish reusable patterns across Nykaa's products.

- Mentor junior designers and contribute to improving design practices across the organization.

What We're Looking For :

- 4 - 8+ years of Product Design / UX Design experience, preferably building consumer-facing digital products.

- Experience designing mobile-first B2C products at scale.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, from problem definition to final experience.

- Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, user journeys, and usability.

- Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive experiences.

- Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams.

- Strong understanding of design systems and scalable design patterns.

- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.

- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

- Strong customer empathy and a data-informed approach to design.
