Nykaa - Assistant Manager - SAP S/4HANA Operation Support

Role Objective :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SAP SD&MM Consultant to join our SAP S/4HANA Operation Support Team. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 6 years of experience in SAP SD & MM, with a strong understanding of S/4HANA on RISE with SAP platform. This role involves supporting day-to-day business operations, issue resolution, system enhancements, and ensuring the smooth functioning of SCM related processes.

On a typical day you will drive the following :

- Provide daily support for SAP S/4HANA Sales, Procurement, Invoicing, Intercompany sales/purchase transactions and Inventory management.

- Collaborate with business users to for timely resolution of incidents, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective/preventive actions for recurring issues.

- Perform functional configuration and small enhancements in the SCM module based on business needs.

- Work closely with technical teams (Basis, CPI, ABAP) for interface issues, data flow validations, and integration troubleshooting.

- Support key processes like month-end / year-end closing, pricing conditions, margin determination tax-related configurations etc

- Validate and test SAP notes, patches, and updates relevant to business operations.

- Participate in regression and UAT testing for SCM related changes.

- Maintain documentation for functional setups, configuration changes, and knowledge base

articles for finance operations.

You will bring the following to the table :

- Bachelor/Masters degree in engineering or finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

- Minimum 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD, IS Retail & MM module in an S/4HANA environment.

- Practical experience with S/4HANA RISE (Private or Public Cloud) operations and cloud-based SAP support models.

- Strong understanding of Sales, Distribution, Procurement business processes with analytical skills and how they translate in SAP configuration.

- Experience in working with RISE with SAP support model including SAP ONE Support

- Launchpad and interaction with SAP for incident handling.

- Knowledge of integration points with other modules (MM, SD, FI, CO) and interfaces via CPI is desirable.

- Familiarity with finance-related localization, tax configurations, and reporting (GST, TDS, etc.)

Preferred Certifications :

- SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA for SD and MM
