Role Overview:

The Technical Delivery Consultant will support the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions for the global consulting practice. The role spans technical solution design, configuration, customisation, integrations, data migration, deployment, hypercare and production support, working closely with functional consultants, solution architects, developers and business stakeholders. This is an internal and client-facing delivery role requiring strong Dynamics 365 implementation experience, hands-on technical capability and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical outcomes across Finance & Operations, Project Operations, Sales / Customer Engagement, HR, Dataverse and Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver end-to-end Dynamics 365 implementation activities across discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, go-live and hypercare.

- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and produce clear Technical Design Documents (TDDs), solution notes, configuration records and handover materials.

- Design, configure, customise and extend Dynamics 365 solutions across Finance & Operations, Project Operations, Sales / Customer Engagement, HR, Dataverse and Power Platform.

- Develop and customise solutions using X++, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Power Platform, Power BI and Dataverse where required.

- Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, OData, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus and Power Automate.

- Support data migration activities using DMF, Data Entities, Dual Write, KingswaySoft and SSIS where appropriate.

- Develop reporting, workflow and automation components including SSRS reports, Electronic Reporting (ER), Power BI dashboards, workflows, security roles and business events.

- Contribute to workshops, solution design sessions, backlog refinement, testing, cutover planning and deployment activities with clear ownership of technical delivery tasks.

- Perform code reviews, debugging and performance tuning and support adherence to Microsoft best practices and agreed project standards.

- Manage source control, CI/CD pipelines and release management using Azure DevOps and Git.

- Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, post-go-live support and ongoing enhancements to ensure stable adoption of delivered solutions.

- Identify delivery risks, dependencies and issues and escalate clearly with practical resolution options.

- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers and delivery leadership ensuring technical concepts are communicated clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience & Knowledge:

- Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions in client or project environments.

- Experience across 35 full lifecycle Dynamics 365 implementation projects is preferred.

- Good working knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance, Project Operations, Sales / Customer Engagement, HR, Dataverse and Power Platform.

- Understanding of core finance, project delivery and sales processes, including order-to-cash, project lifecycle, billing, forecasting and reporting.

- Awareness of integrations, data migration, security roles, environments, testing and release management within the Microsoft ecosystem.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management and delivery coordination skills.

- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

- Microsoft certifications such as MB-300, MB-500, PL-400 and AZ-204 are preferred.

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Apps Solution Architect or equivalent certification is desirable.
