Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer (Java) to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, data engineering concepts, and modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes

- Build scalable data processing solutions using Java

- Work with large datasets and ensure data quality, reliability, and performance

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to understand data requirements

- Optimize data workflows and improve system efficiency

- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards

- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles

- Strong hands-on experience with Java

- Experience with ETL tools, data pipelines, and batch/stream processing

- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases

- Experience working with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka preferred)

- Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure preferred)

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Good to Have :

- Experience with Apache Spark (Java-based)

- Knowledge of NoSQL databases

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

- Experience in real-time data processing.
