Senior Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as a mentor, guiding and coaching junior Data Scientists in technical and storytelling aspects.

- Lead the development, deployment, and adoption of open source LLM models to do text classification, building sentiment models.

- Lead the development, deployment, and adoption of causal inference models to measure marketing campaigns, optimizing investments across short and long-term business objectives.

- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product and Technology teams on further build out of analytics architecture.

- Take ownership of end-to-end projects, operating where there's a high degree of ambiguity, and delivering results within ambitious timelines

- Translate insights into relevant business recommendations, anticipating the needs of business stakeholders.

- Research prior work to inform and develop models and algorithms and quantify appropriate metrics & targets

Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or Equivalent experience

Experience :

- 6 to 10 years Data Science experience covering ML, DL and GenAI

- 2+ years of experience building end-to-end data science applications using dash, Flask, Streamlit and Django etc.

Skills :

- Experience with building end-to-end data science applications

- Experience with NLP and LLM fine tuning

- Experience with cultural transformation to CI/CD and MLOps

- Experience with Azure MLOps or other SDLC tools

- Experience with Agile methodologies

- Experience building applications using fast APIs.

- Experience in a start-up, fast-growth, rapid-change environment

- Must be self-motivated, dedicated to quality and must always strive to do the right thing

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, version control using Git.

- Experience with Containers and Kubernetes

- Experience with TensorFlow, Pytorch etc.
