Nomura - Associate Structuring Frontend Developer - HTML5/CSS3

Roles & responsibilities :

- Strong Front-end Development experience using React/React Native in at-least one project is essential.

- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Understanding/experience in other UI frameworks such as Angular, View, Node JS will be added advantage.

- Design and implement responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using modern React practices and component libraries

- Even though the role is primarily in UI development, full stack development experience will be preferred.

- Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices architecture to support business applications

- Maintain and support the automation infrastructure

- Deliver high quality code within the committed deadlines. Adhere to the best coding practices that reduce technical debt

- Self-drive to identify gaps and strengthen current processes and controls

- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders, with ability to work independently and in team settings

- Understand business requirements and exhibit good balance between speed of delivery v/s robustness of solutions.

- Strong work ethics and communication skills

Skills required :

- 5+ years of experience in Front End Development, building end to end applications

- Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks

- Expertise in RESTful APIs development and integration

- Strong understanding of DevOps practices including :

- Experience with Relational and/or no-SQL Databases

- Knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development

- Good analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities and capable of learning new technologies quickly

- Self-motivated and attention to detail

Desired :

- 1+ years of experience with Python or 1+ years of experience in any structured low level programming language (C++, Java, C#)

- Basic knowledge of technical architecture, design patterns

- Knowledge of dashboard / Visualization tools eg PowerBI is a plus

- Experience with ETL tools, data manipulation and data analysis

- Basic understanding of financial products and pricing theory is good to have.
