Roles & Responsibilities :

Position Overview :

We are seeking an AEM Headless API Developer to build and maintain headless APIs on Adobe Experience Manager. You will work on a global AEM platform, designing and implementing RESTful APIs that power our digital experiences. This role focuses on API development, component migration to headless, and supporting a headless architecture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain headless REST APIs using AEM and the Sling framework

- Migrate existing AEM components to headless APIs using Sling Models and the Exporter framework

- Implement Sling servlets and Sling Models to expose content as JSON

- Build reusable, scalable API endpoints that support multiple client applications

- Collaborate with frontend teams to define API contracts and data structures

- Optimize API performance, including caching strategies and query optimization

- Implement authentication, authorization, and security for API endpoints

- Write unit and integration tests for Sling Models, servlets, and API endpoints

- Document API specifications and integration guidelines

- Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues in production environments

- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
