Job Description

Role Overview:

As an Oracle EPM and Cost Management Consultant, you will serve as a technical and functional bridge between complex business requirements and Oracle's cloud-based financial solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional project teams and client stakeholders to design, configure, and deploy sophisticated planning and cost-tracking models. Your primary impact will be ensuring that client organizations gain real-time visibility into their financial performance and cost structures, directly influencing their ability to make data-driven strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and configure Oracle EPM Cloud modules to align with client-specific financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles to improve accuracy and reporting speed.

- Design comprehensive cost management frameworks that allow clients to track, allocate, and optimize operational expenses across various business units.

- Collaborate with business process owners to translate financial requirements into scalable system configurations, ensuring high adoption rates and process efficiency.

- Lead the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, including requirement gathering, system design, testing, and post-deployment support to ensure seamless business continuity.

- Analyze complex data sets to identify cost-saving opportunities and performance bottlenecks, providing actionable insights to senior leadership teams.

- Develop training materials and conduct workshops for end-users to facilitate a smooth transition to new financial platforms and methodologies.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in configuring and managing Oracle EPM Cloud (PBCS/EPBCS) and Oracle Cost Management modules within large-scale enterprise environments.

- Strong analytical capability to map intricate financial workflows into technical system logic, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fostering collaboration across diverse project teams.

- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a deep understanding of corporate financial reporting standards.

- High degree of adaptability to work in a hybrid environment, managing multiple project workstreams simultaneously while meeting strict delivery timelines.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that meet evolving business needs.
