Role : MSSQL Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled MSSQL Architect with strong hands-on experience in database development, optimization, and migration, especially from MSSQL to PostgreSQL in a cloud environment (Azure/AWS/GCP).

The ideal candidate will design and guide robust, scalable, and high-performing database solutions and lead critical database transformation and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade database systems using MSSQL.

- Design and implement migration strategies from MSSQL to PostgreSQL including stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers.

- Analyze and optimize existing MSSQL databases for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Define data migration plans and lead end-to-end cloud migration efforts.

- Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to build scalable and secure cloud-native data platforms.

- Ensure best practices in data modeling, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.

- Support development teams with SQL tuning, schema design, and troubleshooting.

- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior database developers.

- Contribute to the data modernization roadmap, tools selection, and automation.
