Network Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Network and Security Infrastructure Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and support of secure network solutions across global environments. This position requires deep technical knowledge in network infrastructure, cybersecurity, firewall configuration, and a demonstrated ability to lead and develop technical teams (L1L3). The role also demands strong project management capabilities and vendor engagement experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement secure network architectures incorporating switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.

- Provide architectural and engineering-level support across local, regional, and global domains.

- Lead and manage incident response, problem resolution, and root cause analysis for major network and security events.

- Configure and support Cisco Nexus, ACI, Fortigate, and Check Point firewalls.

- Manage VPN access, segmentation policies, and enterprise-grade network protocols.

- Maintain operational health of network infrastructure with high availability and performance standards.

- Lead and mentor a team of L1, L2, and L3 network security engineers.

- Conduct technical training sessions and create awareness programs to build team capability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive security compliance, audits, and policy enforcement.

- Manage multiple infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and deployments.

- Track and report project timelines, risks, and milestones to senior leadership.

- Interface with vendors for product evaluations, feature reviews, and commercial negotiations.

- Maintain documentation for network/security configurations, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and incident reports.

- Ensure alignment with industry best practices and enterprise security standards.

Required Technical & Professional Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- 1215 years of experience in network administration, infrastructure security, and team management.

- Mandatory certifications : CCNA and CCNP.

- Proven experience with Cisco Nexus, ACI, Fortigate, Check Point, and enterprise VPNs.

- Strong troubleshooting skills in routing, switching, firewalls, and WAN/LAN architectures.

- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, monitoring tools, and incident handling.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with executives and clients.

- Hands-on experience in developing incident response plans and driving root cause analysis across domains.

- Demonstrated experience managing technical teams and mentoring junior staff.

Preferred Qualifications :

- CCIE certification is a strong advantage.

- Experience managing multiple vendors, evaluating new technologies, and negotiating service contracts.

- Familiarity with cloud network security, SD-WAN, and automation tools is a plus.
