Network Engineer - SDWAN/LAN

Description :

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-availability network architectures.

- Manage and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN environments.

- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.

- Implement and manage network security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, and VPNs.

- Support cloud and hybrid network integrations (AWS/Azure/GCP connectivity).

- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to support business requirements.

- Lead network upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery initiatives.

- Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.

- Mentor junior network engineers and provide technical leadership.

- Work with vendors and ISPs for network provisioning and issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- 8+ years of experience in network engineering and operations.

- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.

- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or equivalent networking devices.

- Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Check Point).

- Strong troubleshooting skills using packet capture and monitoring tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc.).

- Experience with network monitoring and performance tools.

- Exposure to cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets, VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute).

- Understanding of network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform preferred).

Certifications (Preferred) :

- Network Security certifications are a plus
