Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Network & Security Architect to architect, design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale Cisco networking and security solutions. This role is responsible for building secure, resilient, and scalable data center network architectures while ensuring strong perimeter defense and internal segmentation.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Cisco Data Center technologies, advanced firewall platforms, and security policy design, along with the ability to lead complex implementations in large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Network & Data Center Architecture :

- Architect, design, and deploy enterprise-level Cisco networking solutions, including routers, switches, and VPN technologies

- Design and implement robust data center network architectures with a focus on scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and security

- Lead the technical design and implementation of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) environments

- Define and manage ACI security constructs, including EPGs, contracts, VRFs, and segmentation policies

Cisco Data Center Technologies :

- Configure, administer, and optimize Cisco Nexus switches (9000, 7000, and 5000 series)

- Design and implement multi-tenant and segmented data center networks using Cisco ACI best practices

- Ensure performance optimization, monitoring, and lifecycle management of data center networking components

Security & Firewall Management :

- Configure, manage, and optimize Cisco ASA and Firepower (FTD) firewalls

- Administer Secure Firewall Management Center (FMC) for centralized policy management and monitoring

- Implement firewall policies for perimeter defense, internal segmentation, and VPN enforcement

- Design and support site-to-site and remote-access VPN solutions

- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements

Operational Excellence & Leadership :

- Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across data center and enterprise environments

- Provide technical leadership and guidance during network transformations, migrations, and upgrades

- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver secure network solutions

- Create and maintain architectural documentation, standards, and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco enterprise networking and security technologies

- Deep expertise in :

1. Cisco ACI

2. Nexus switches (9K, 7K, 5K)

3. Cisco ASA and Firepower (FTD)

4. Secure Firewall Management Center (FMC)

- Strong understanding of data center network design principles, including segmentation, resilience, and scalability

- Advanced knowledge of VPN technologies, routing, switching, and firewall policy enforcement

- Proven experience designing and managing large-scale, enterprise data center environments

- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

Certifications (Highly Preferred) :

- CCNP Security
