Network Administrator

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator with relevant certifications to manage, maintain, and secure our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing network systems to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.

- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

- Ensure network security through firewall management, VPN configuration, and access controls.

- Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and patch management.

- Manage LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

- Maintain network documentation including topology diagrams and configuration records.

- Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures for network systems.

- Provide technical support for network-related issues to internal teams.

- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network reliability and scalability.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Relevant certifications such as:

1. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

2. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

3. CompTIA Network+

- Microsoft Certified : Azure Network Engineer Associate (preferred)

Required Skills :

- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.

- Experience with routers, switches, and firewall configuration.

- Network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.

- Knowledge of network security best practices.

- Experience with VPN and remote access solutions.

- Understanding of cloud networking (Azure or AWS is a plus).

Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in network administration or network engineering roles.
