Job Summary :

We are seeking a Project Manager Data Analytics to lead end-to-end delivery of data and analytics initiatives. This role bridges business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and data scientists to ensure analytics projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with a solid understanding of data, analytics, and reporting environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage the full project lifecycle for data and analytics initiatives, from requirements gathering to delivery and post-implementation review

- Partner with business stakeholders to define project scope, success metrics, timelines, and deliverables

- Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, BI developers, analysts, and data scientists

- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports

- Translate business requirements into clear data and analytics deliverables

- Track dependencies, manage risks, and proactively resolve issues

- Ensure data projects adhere to governance, security, and quality standards

- Facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) or manage waterfall delivery as required

- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders

- Support change management and user adoption of analytics solutions

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field

- 3+ years of experience in project management, with at least 1 to 2 years supporting data or analytics projects

- Strong understanding of data concepts (data warehouses, ETL/ELT, dashboards, KPIs)

- Experience working with BI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, SQL)

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification)

- Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments

- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Experience working with data governance, data quality, or master data initiatives

- Background in analytics, reporting, or data engineering teams
