Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco DNA Center Network Engineer to serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cisco DNA Center operations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of network devices within DNA Center, leveraging its advanced features for assurance, SDA fabric management, policy enforcement, and automation. This role requires extensive hands-on experience, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and a commitment to mentorship and knowledge transfer within the team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary SME for Cisco DNA Center, leading all aspects of onboarding, provisioning, and management of network devices, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and access points.
- Utilize Assurance features in-depth for proactive network health monitoring, advanced troubleshooting, and effective anomaly detection.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Software-Defined Access (SDA) fabric design, implementation, and operations, specifically managing border nodes, control plane nodes, and edge nodes.
- Oversee the management of network policies, segmentation (Virtual Networks/VN), and critical security integrations such as Cisco ISE.
- Leverage Automation features, templates, and workflows within DNA Center to streamline and enhance network operations efficiency.
- Lead the planning, deployment, and configuration of Cisco DNA Center solutions and all related network infrastructure components.
- Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices specifically tailored for DNA Center management.
- Perform proactive monitoring, regular health checks, and strategic capacity planning for both the DNA Center appliance and the managed network infrastructure.
- Act as an escalation point for complex network issues, utilizing DNA Center's advanced analytics and integrated troubleshooting tools.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents related to network performance, connectivity, and security.
- Collaborate effectively with Cisco TAC and other vendors for advanced issue resolution and problem escalation.
- Provide expert guidance, training, and comprehensive knowledge transfer to junior network engineers and operations teams.
- Create comprehensive documentation, detailed runbooks, and actionable playbooks related to all aspects of DNA Center operations.
Required Qualifications :
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer, with significant expertise in Cisco DNA Center.
- Proven proficiency in Cisco DNA Center for device onboarding, provisioning, and management.
- In-depth experience with DNA Center Assurance features for monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Strong practical knowledge of Software-Defined Access (SDA) fabric concepts and implementation.
- Experience in managing network policies, segmentation (VN), and security integrations, ideally with Cisco ISE.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage DNA Center's automation features, templates, and workflows.
- Experience in planning, deploying, and configuring Cisco DNA Center solutions.
- Ability to develop and implement standardized operating procedures and best practices.
- Strong skills in proactive monitoring, health checks, and capacity planning.

Preferred Qualifications :
